The ESB Marketing Network is the first congress organiser to receive the "Certified Service Quality - Event" certificate
Vienna, 28 April 2025 - The sports business congress "SPORT MARKE MEDIEN 2024", organised by the ESB Marketing Network, has been awarded the globally unique "Tested Service Quality - Event/Congress" certificate by SLC Management in cooperation with SGS INSTITUT FRESENIUS. This award, which was presented at the "Sport & Marke" congress in Vienna, emphasises the congress's high level of customer satisfaction and service quality.

The certificate was presented to Hans-Willy Brockes, Managing Director of the ESB Marketing Network, by Maximilian Madeja, Managing Partner of SLC Management, and Dirk Lindemann, Business Development Manager of SGS INSTITUT FRESENIUS.
SLC Management's service quality programme for the sports, leisure, culture and entertainment sectors is characterised by a comprehensive analysis of service quality at all visitor and customer contact points. As part of this holistic evaluation, all relevant service and infrastructure criteria of the "SPORT MARKE MEDIEN", which took place in December 2024 as part of the leading trade fair "ISPO" at ICM Messe München, were analysed.
Maximilian Madeja, Managing Partner of SLC Management, emphasises the importance of a smooth congress visit: "At a business event in particular, visitors expect a smooth, uncomplicated congress experience where they can concentrate on the essentials - namely networking and the lecture programme. To achieve this, it is essential to provide optimal framework conditions and first-class service quality, which ESB undoubtedly succeeded in doing at the "SPORT MARKE MEDIEN" congress."
For ESB, this award is confirmation of its continuous efforts and is proof of the high quality of the event. ESB Managing Director Hans-Willy Brockes explains: "Most of our congress participants are experienced organisers themselves. This makes it a particular challenge to fulfil customer expectations. The objective view from outside by SLC and SGS INSTITUT FRESENIUS helped us enormously. Their expertise, supplemented by participant surveys, shed a different light on many aspects of the event than we as organisers perceive them. And we are particularly pleased that this objective picture is so positive and spurs us on to consistently tackle weak points. We try harder!"
