The Bundesliga Barometer 2020/21 goes to... FC Bayern Munich! First place for the record champion in Germany's most important Bundesliga customer satisfaction survey
Last season, FC Bayern not only secured the German championship title once again, but also the title of "champion" of the Bundesliga Barometer for the 8th time overall. As on the pitch, FC Bayern Munich defended its title with an overall grade of 1.85 (1 = very good to 5 = deficient) and even improved on the previous year (grade last year: 1.96). This means in seven years the sixth "very good grade" - unique in the history of the Bundesliga Barometer and the result of sustainable quality management of the (Bundesliga Barometer) record champion.
Since 2007, SPORT BILD has published the results of the Bundesliga Barometer, the largest and oldest customer satisfaction survey among fans. The survey was conducted for the 18th time by Prof. Dr. Madeja from Nuremberg, inventor of the Bundesliga Barometer. The results are presented this year by Immuny. The fans gave marks in three main categories and 18 different individual criteria for satisfaction with their favorite club. Since the introduction of the Bundesliga Barometer, the results serve the managers of the Bundesliga clubs as an important controlling tool in quality management.
Also in this year's edition, 5321 fans were asked about their satisfaction with their club on the 33rd and 34th matchday of the 20/21 Bundesliga season. However, the survey again took place exclusively online, as the pandemic meant that it was not possible to survey outside the stadiums as usual. Since this is the first barometer conducted for a complete pandemic season, for example, questions about the stadium and catering were omitted, but questions about the appearance of the club in Corona times and online services were integrated..
