1. FC Nürnberg has been in existence for 125 years and is deeply rooted in the city of Nuremberg and the Franconia region across generations. The club and its fans shape the city, even beyond match days. This close connection became particularly clear in the anniversary year. The SLC report now proves in black and white that the club is not only a local landmark, but also a significant economic factor. 1. FC Nürnberg generates a regional economic effect for the city of Nuremberg and the region amounting to €178.2 million per season. The study also shows that a complete renovation of the Max-Morlock-Stadion will further enhance these positive effects.

A clear majority of 93 to 98 percent of the 3,950 people surveyed—including students, teachers, parents, coaches, and officials from soccer clubs—are in favor of a stronger initiative to promote sports and exercise in schools. The latest survey conducted as part of the Amateur Football Barometer confirms that the German Football Association (DFB) is addressing a key social issue with its "Year of School" campaign. The survey conducted by SLC Management on behalf of the DFB clearly shows that school and soccer go hand in hand.

The payment behavior of sports fans has changed fundamentally in 2025, reaching a historic turning point: for the first time, EC/debit cards are the preferred payment method when visiting stadiums and arenas. This replaces cash, which has long been the dominant form of payment, and marks a new standard in fans' payment behavior. nbsp;The results are based on an extensive survey conducted by SLC Management, Stadionwelt's data intelligence partner, in September 2025. A total of 11,104 fans and regular stadium/arena visitors were asked about their everyday payment habits and those when visiting stadiums/arenas – with participants from Germany's four largest professional leagues.

Regensburg is home to three clubs that play in the top three national leagues in their respective sports. The SLC report now proves in black and white that these clubs are not only an important soft location factor, but also an economic factor. SSV Jahn Regensburg (third division soccer), Eisbären Regensburg (second division ice hockey), and Guggenberger Legionäre (first division baseball) generate a regional economic effect for the city of Regensburg and the surrounding area amounting to €69 million per season.

FC Bayern Munich not only won the German championship in the 2024/25 season, but also secured first place in the Bundesliga Barometer, published by SPORT BILD and supported by RYZR AG. The Bundesliga Barometer, developed by SLC Managing Director Prof. Dr. Alfons Madeja, is the "voice of the fans" and is considered the oldest and largest customer satisfaction analysis in German soccer. On the occasion of Bayern's home game against SV Werder Bremen (ranked 16th in the Barometer) last Friday evening, the Bundesliga Barometer Cup was presented on the pitch at the Allianz Arena.

Clubs—whether amateur or professional—have a far-reaching impact on their location and region. These effects are now also available to MSV Duisburg in black and white: according to a study commissioned by Duisburg City Marketing and conducted by SLC Management, the club generated a total effect of around €30.5 million for the city of Duisburg last season, despite playing in the Regionalliga. For the 3rd league, to which MSV has been promoted, this figure rises to over €55 million. Should the club succeed in gaining promotion to the 2nd Bundesliga, this figure will rise to more than €100 million.

SLC Management accompanied the media communication around the CUJU app - an innovative complete solution for modern football training, talent development and scouting - in the Brazilian state of Santa Catarina over a period of twelve months and comprehensively analysed its media impact as part of the SLC Media Value Projection MEVAP©. A global reach of 528.8 million impressions and an advertising value of €13.4 million were measured. As part of the project both the advertising value and the reach across print, TV, online and social media channels were recorded and analysed worldwide. The tonality of the reporting was also analysed and classified.

Due to the enormous importance of catering, SLC Management conducted a survey among fans and customers of clubs from the German Basketball League (BBL), German Football League (DFL), German Ice Hockey League (DEL) and German Handball League (HBL) regarding their satisfaction with their club's catering services, which has now been published in the trade magazine Stadionwelt.
