SLC Management will continue to support Sportplatzwelt as presenting partner of Sportplatzwelt LIVE in the coming year. Sportplatzwelt LIVE presented by SLC Management will take place on March 6, 2024 in Cologne.

SLC Management advises clubs - not only in the professional sector, but also in amateur sports - with data-based facts and offers sports clubs important know-how in view of the many challenges facing organized club sports today.

Sportplatzwelt and SLC Management can look back on years of successful collaboration - not only at seven online congresses, but also at the first edition of Sportplatzwelt LIVE in May 2023, which SLC Management also supported as a presenting partner with exciting keynotes and lectures

Madeja: "As the topic of popular sports is not only part of our daily work, but also a matter close to our hearts and we want to promote the exchange between clubs in the best possible way, it was clear to us from the outset that we would definitely want to support such a live event again as the perfect complement to the online format, especially after our positive experience last year. We spoke to many participants and our event evaluation also clearly shows that the first live congress was a complete success, as it enabled a valuable discussion for everyone. As always, the open face-to-face exchange with the clubs was particularly exciting. We are looking forward to a large number of participants in 2024, a lively exchange and the opportunity to contribute even more to the further development and strengthening of the clubs."

After the first edition in May 2023 was a great success with around 240 participants, the industry will come together again next year at the RheinEnergieSTADION in Cologne. Participants can look forward to exciting presentations on current topics in the areas of popular sports, sports facilities and municipal sports administration. The event also offers the opportunity for personal exchange on site as well as the chance to see the latest innovations and solutions from the industry for yourself in the exhibitor area.

Madeja: "Especially in amateur and popular sports, it is important to learn from each other. A platform like Sportplatzwelt LIVE offers space for knowledge transfer, exchange and growth. It is always impressive to see what people in the clubs are already achieving. However, if those involved in grassroots sport do not know what opportunities they have to grow and professionalize, then no development can take place. One example of such growth potential is a stronger focus on data-based club management. A club can be particularly successful if it uses tools such as a club information system that enable it to constantly identify the thoughts of its members, stakeholders and environment and use them in its strategy and operations. This approach has a direct, clear influence on the optimization of expenditure and income and thus also on the professionalization and further development of a club and serves to adapt best practices to the club's own individual situation."
